Hi Peter,
This was apparently a problem last year when there was a "heat wave" during
winter in the midwest. Beekeepers looked at clusters not realizing that
they had already expanded due to the warmth, and still assumed that they
would expand in Calif. They didn't, and the beekeepers were surprised when
graded.
