I was checking last week on Torula yeast. It was recommended years ago by
Christine Peng, and I used it at the time. I don't see it offered by bee
suppliers any more. I Googled it, and found that it is made nowadays from
wood waste sugars on a large scale, and sold as a flovor enhance, and human
and animal food.
Does anyone know why beekeepers don't appear to be using it any more?
