Does anybody recall the name of the mystery where a man who kept bees killed
his wife by mixing some alarm pheremones into her perfume, so that the bees
attacked en masse. I seem to recall having seen mention of this mystery in
an older book on beekeeping that I checked out of the library one time, but
now have no clue what book it was.

I'm inclined to think that the mystery was published maybe in the 20's-40's
sometime.

So, has anybody heard of what I'm talking about, or seen mention of it in a
beekeeping book?

I appreciate any help that you can give me,
Robert the Bearded.
