I wanted to confirm to the list that Vita's slow-release thymol gel product
APIGUARD, for the control of varroa mites on honeybees was registered by the
EPA on 30th December 2005. Individual State registrations are now in
process. The product will be available through Dadant.

APIGUARD is a useful tool, especially in the control of pyrethroid and
OP-resistant mites and could help save a lot of bees in the US this year.

Happy New Year!

Max
