The recent discussion about modifications in bee hives is intriguing because no has spent much time or money considering alternatives.

I wonder what would result if we raised some money for young upcoming designers to come up with alternatives to the Langstroff model?

If nothing else thing of all the great discussions that might emerge from this list next winter.  I'll kick in $10.
