Brian, I appreciate your citing the particular myths on this site.
It turns out to be a Website project of a junior high school "honors" 
program here in Northern California. I wrote them a hard copy letter, 
which I hope they take in the spirit in which it was intended, 
explaining how to choose bona fide resources.
