I wonder. I can't speak for all climates, only for my small corner of the
Northeast. I store supers wet. Maybe I should say sticky. In the spring
when I'm ready to put them back on the bees...that's wet! The remaining
honey has absorbed so much moisture from the air, that the honey left on
the combs is practically runny. I would think that with all that moisture,
the crystals would dissolve. And, I don't have a crystallization problem
the following year.
