To the List,

Add to Jim's comments concerning the American Honey Producers and the
American Beekeeping Federation the simple fact that the National Honey
Board, the 'American equivalent to the CHC', Bob, is controlled by a board
of producers, importers, and handlers, see: http://www.nhb.org/info-
pub/board/bdir.html, who IMHO have the producers, ie. beekeepers, on one
side of the fence and the importers and handlers on the other side of the
fence. The handlers and importers don't care about the honey bees, only
buying honey at the lowest prices possible, and they are not loyal to the
American beekeeper. The answer to Bob Darrell's question, "Are there no
American equivalents to the CHC?" is bluntly, no. I would wager that there
will be no oxalic help from the NHB.
