As ever more stringent hygiene requirements come into force for honey
producers - what are the thoughts of regarding the suitability of present
day extracting equipment and how it fits into ease of keeping clean during
the honey extraction process?
Although health departments are concerned with the items you said.
The top problems still remain filth, insect & rodent problems, buildings not
sealed from outside and not washing hands.
Once cleaned and sterlized with clorox and water before the extracting
starts ( all areas need treated) little actual health problems come from
most present and past honey extraction equipment in use today acording to
the health inspectors I have talked with.
