I am presently involved in a project to study possible impacts of
microbial pesticides on non-target organisms in Brazil. We are
interested on evaluating possible effects of those pesticides on
honey-bees. For that evaluation, we are trying to maintain approximately
30 bees in captivity (box of ca. 12x12x5 cm) for at least 25 days.
We are following methodology described in a few papers we have seen.
However, we are unable to maintain those insects alive in those
conditions for more than 2-3 days. Could anyone help us with that
problem. Thank you very much. [log in to unmask]
