You sure this isn't just sloppy beekeeping? I certainly
haven't seen this, though I have come back to a vehicle I
left the door open and had bees inside that wanted to get
out, but driving off they are normally done in a few
hundred feet or so. 

Sure you don't need to go to a field beekeeping school on
how to be around honeybees so you don't get them so mad?
