Are you doing any work on winter clusters? Things may be very different in
your climate with your bees, but I'm beginning to wonder whether, in theUK at
least, the traditional winter brood break really happens at all. I think
there may be intermittent short breaks, but what seems to happen is that there is
a small amount of brood present for much of the winter, perhaps most of it.
But its hard to be sure, as I don't want to open hives in cold weather.
