Reply Can this be right? Air laden with water is lighter than air?
I use polystyrene hives with no top ventilation, all have open mesh floors
and wintering so far has been much more successful than with wooden boxes
and with less stores used.
Every time I have attempted the matchsticks under the crown board trick they
have filled the gap with propolis before Christmas perhaps suggesting that
the bees "prefer" no draughts?
