Dennis,

How do the starter strips from your mold
(http://wind.prohosting.com/tbhguy/bee/start.htm
compare to starter strips of foundation (small or large cell
foundation)? Also, do the bees do well staying on the starter strip
from the poured mold? I have noticed that the bees tend to curve a bit
with the wooden starter strips and Marty Hardison recommends the
topbar length of 16 1/2 to decrease the parabolic effect of the bees
drawing the comb.
