Good morning folks from a very cold Virginia Beach.
I would like to add my observations to the thread on imidaclopride. As
many of you may know, I have been doing honey bee research with FGMO in
Spain for the last 5 years. In those 5 years I have seen thousands of hives
die from the effects of imidaclopride. Bees affected by this substance leave
the hive to harvest and never return. Affected hives seem perfectly healthy,
some with frames full of honey yet few bees. Eventually the bee population
dwindles down a small bunch of bees around the queen and very little if any
brood. These observations have been made on bees harvesting on sunflower fields.
Best regards and God bless.
