I don't know what honey molasses is, but here in the mountains of NC we call
sorghum "syrup" molasses. It is made from the sorghum plant that resembles a
corn plant but the grain head is at the terminal end of the plant.
The leaves are stripped in the fall, the plants are cut and run through a
squeeze process to get the juice ant then it is boiled like maple syrup.
