I would not believe this as we clip all our breeder queens and they last for
a long time.  We do not have problems with them being "superceded".

Probably just a story that cannot be justified just in the same way that if
you clip a queen its progeny cannot produce organic honey.  Not sure how the
clipping affects the properties of the honey.
