I am wondering if there has been any research into the susceptibility of
colonies to viruses, particularly those causing problems when vectored by
varroa.
When varroa first arrived, we saw very heavy losses with most colonies
clearly suffering from DWV. Now, it is rare to see DWV and varroa is much
less of a problem. Has varroa eliminated the most susceptible colonies,
leaving us with more resistant stock?
