I just ordered the drum (from LSI). It will be here the day after Labour Day. I could have had it Monday, but we are on Holiday nest week. Shipping was $68.00, for a total of around $277.00 for 635# of product. My math is not so good, but that ballparks to around $.46/lb. That is almost four times the cost of sugar, but without the mixing, mess and hassle. I am not certain of the conversion loss for sugar syrup, but say it is 50%; then the difference in net costs (w/time, etc) approach zero pretty fast. I am already looking forward to spring feedings, faster buildup and drawn comb as never before <<G>>. JK
