Roy,
I would like to applaud the tone of your comments concerning hive
observation as the method of deterring the time to perform certain
manipulations of the hive. They were meant to enlighten and open doors not
shut them by putting up a wall. Beekeeping is a journey, not a stop at the
end of a long trip-and not everyone takes the same route. Some ask
questions and some don't. If one asks directions only to get their head bit
off, soon the asking and the learning stops.
