Here in Australia there was some work done in the early days, never
published to my knowledge, showing that dried pollen that was irradiated did
not lose any of its food value after irradiation.
I believe that dried pollen does lose about 10% of its food value a year
under normal dry conditions.
One thing for Australians is that you cannot sell irradiated pollen for
human consumption.
