Unfortunately, I do not have his book. Would you
accept to describ both his method and yours about this
particular point ?
With regard to inspect some frames every week or so,
it is not such a trouble in spring. I insepected 10
frames each week all the season my first year of
beekeeping. But I felt my enthousiasm was really too
invasive. I cut down inspection to some middle frames
every 2 weeks or so, depending on the season,
depending on hives behaviour. But such brood
inspection quickly become harassing when there are 3
or 4 deep supers on the two brood chambers. After late
June or early July, I am very reluctant to play with
brood frames for that reason.
