Rewaxing Plastic Foundation

I'll be switching the rest of my brood nests over to 4.9 foundation this
Spring.  This will leave me with hundreds of frames of brood comb on plastic
foundation. My goal is to recycle these for use in the supers.  I could just
scrape the brood comb off, but remnants will remain in the base of the cell
imprints.  If I truly clean the foundation, using hot water or a power
washer, the wax coating will need to be replaced somehow, IMHO.  Soooo, I
need ideas on how to recoat the foundation?  Dip um? Spray um?  Rub with a
block of wax then smooth out with a heat lamp?  Comments and help please.
Don't forget, we're talking several hundred.
