Which prompts my question: what is LD50?

PS. Hope you're still OK after all those stings, Chris. What doesn't kill you will toughen you. I have been working my bees in dark, cold and rainy weather the last couple of days. Conditions like these turn bees into angry walkers and they sure turn up in some places where you thought you were protected (and sting you in those same places).
