Kelley co. rates the above setup for honey with a temperature of 84 F. and
warmer.
I can pump 70 F. honey with the above setup by using a one horse motor *but*
without a gear reduction you will get belt wear over time when the pump
starts up.
I have not had a cavitate problem so far but only use the pump at 70 F. to
clear a sump (approx. 40 gal.) at room temperature.
