Bob quoted:
> Dr. Rinderer said at the talks that he had sent samples of the
> Russian bee to Dr. Fredrick Ruttner to determine the makeup of the
> Russian bee.

Vov asked:
Before or after his voyage to Russia?

Tom never said before or after to me but if I were to guess I would say
after the project had been in operation for awhile.

I see nothing unexpected in the Ruttner finding.

Many researchers love to poke fun at beekeepers which call every black bee a
carniolan and every yellow bee Italian.

Sincerely,
Bob Harrison
