In Rhode Island, where I keep my one backyard hive, it's often in the
40's now and local beekeepers say that queens will be laying now. I
would like to feed pollen to help my colony build up fast. Good idea?
I can buy it from Brushy Mt., but I can also buy it from my local
Whole Foods Market. Is there any reason, other than cost, which I
will now check, why I shouldn't buy it in a food store?
