Another option for a smoker box came right out of
my barn - a metal milk delivery-service box.

Most companies that delivered milk stopped doing
so back in the 1960s, but the boxes still remain.

Assuming that they are not priced as "collectables"
they make fine boxes for a single smoker, and they
are insulated, which keeps the heat in just as well
as it kept the cold in.
