There is plenty of evidence that adult onset diabetes is caused by
overeating carbohydrates -all types of carbs.As far as the body is
concerned,sugar,honey,bread,bagles,etc.are all the same in that carbs cause
a release of insulin.Too much insulin released too often leads to health
problems including diabetes,to put it simply.The amount of vitamins and
minerals is a seperate issue.100 lbs of sugar or 100 lbs of honey plus all
the grain based foods we eat is just too much for the human body to
handle.No wonder there is an epidemic of obesity and diabetes.
