I have been working with a beekeeper with a lot more hives than me that
uses Checkmite. We have been removing the strips. Bee catalogs sell a
nitrile glove saying they are the only approved glove to wear for this. I
obtained some from work and they break real easy. Question 1: per the
MSDS plain old chemical-resistant gloves ought to be okay?
The MSDS says to use goggles to prevent dust getting into eyes. Q2: Any
comments on this?
The MSDS says that the exposure at the end use of this product should be
minimal. Q3: What is the "end use" of this product and is this statment
true?
Q4: Basically I have some OCD traits that will serve me well to not be
poisoned by this product. What should I know about Checkmite as I work
with it? The guy I work with is alive and well, but I am curious what
others do as far as personal protection.
