I think you will find beeswax foundation is the best, for the hobbyist. Bees
like it - so no problems.
In UK, begnners obviously do not have wax blocks for recycling, but they can
often 'borrow' some from an older beekeeper in the local association, then
pay back when they have melyed some cappings of their own.
