Thin stainless-steel wire can be brittle.
Very brittle.

Why not use something stronger, easier to
work with, and much, much cheaper?

  Think fishing line.
    Plastic.
    Inert.
    Cheap. Almost Free.
    Very high tensile strength.
    Won't melt in the solar melter.
