Mea culpa. OK, it is not honey.
But it is also not adulterated which was my point. (Nothing is added to
the final product.) And I agree, it is not Honey.
From the classical definition, true honey comes from nectar or other
plant secretions (the same definition in the US and Europe so we are not
different). So please do not condemn US beekeepers because my pen got in
front of my brain. I was not advocating it nor do I know of anyone who
feeds to produce "honey", including me. As noted in my original post- it
is unnatural and unethical.
