I'm new to beekeeping and have been following the painting thread. I've
painted my hive bodies both inside and out with oil-based primer and two
coats of oil-based house paint (white). I'm assuming that since
moisture from the inside causes the problems of pushing the paint off
the outside in my case it can't get into the board at all since it is
sealed from the inside of the hive with oil based paint also. But I'm
wondering if this will cause too much buildup of moisture in the inside
of the hive during the winter?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
