Hi Ron

The amount of food available is much more important than the "view" of the
hive. With your hives getting morning sun this would seem like a good
location, as long as there are lots of flowers, and your farmer neighbor
sprays his chemicals carefully.

I have several locations which are open 360 degrees, but with this horrible
drought I may not be able to brag about not feeding my bees anymore :-(
