I was asked this question and wasn't sure of the answer. Does 2:1 sugar
syrup stimulate the workers wax glands, thus stimulating comb building?

I told him I couldn't think of a reason to use 2:1 for comb production since
1:1 is so much cheaper. But after thinking about it, I realized I don't
know if 2:1 will stimulate the wax glands or not. I also don't know if 2:1
has other uses other than building up brood chamber stores for the Winter.
