If there is sufficient air flow between the frames that should be enough.
Single frames thrown in the freezer have been dead in less time. However,
a member of our local group has observed wax moth larva when placed
in a chest freezer in full boxes of frames huddled together and were
still alive after 3 days. We suspect they had enough mass to keep warm.
Space between the boxes, and a small fan in the freezer should fix the
problem. (or a longer period of time).
