Hello George,
You always are so helpful and greatly appreciated. I have one more question
regarding swarms. One of the swarms I collected had been on a fence post
within 15 yards of the hive it issued from for at least 24 hours. It was
about 36 hours later that I was able to move it to another yard about 2
miles away. The numbers dwindled from the time of issue to the move. Can I
assume the bees drifted back to the hive the swarm came from. The remaining
population is quite small. My intention is to combine those bees left with
the small swarm in the barn that has the laying queen.

Any coments?

Coleene
