Yesterday after a couple of days of hard rain one of my apiarys got flooded.
The water rose about 8 feet and some of my bees are underwater. It was
interesting to see the now river flowing around the hives without them even
budging. The water covered the first deep and maybe a inch or two of the
second deep above that is the QE and a few supers on each hive. All the
hives have open screen bottom boards and no bottom below that so hopefully
this will make for good ventilation and water drainage. Can anyone with
the same or like experiance tell me after this is all over what I can
expect? I think the water has subsided enough and is below the deeps
although there is still about a foot still flowing and I probably won't get
there till late this afternoon or tomorrow if the weather hold off.
Thanks
