As the closing of bee labs has been a reoccurring theme as an industry at
some point we have to fight under "Plan A" but also develop "Plan B". Some
of the breeding and pollination studies are by nature very long term and to
simply cut them off would be short sided. Ongoing research projects need
to be listed and plans put in place to move these to either private or
university settings. Maybe there exists projects that "citizen scientists"
could get involved in and at very least provide cheap labor.
