Hello,
Thank you to all who answered my question on the unidentified beetle hanging
around my equipment. It appears that the winner is the Larder Beetle.

I first noticed this beetle at one out yard, then brought it home with some
dead-outs. (I, like Aaron mentioned, have some items in storage I am not
proud of.) In reading about it, I sure hope it doesn't find its way into
the house. My wife still reminds me about the time I left an old super in
the basement and later went on a business trip. I returned home to find a
jar of wax moths that was collected throughout the house, and left on my
pillow. Let's just say I was less popular than the moths.
