I am trying to determine if the 85% Formic Acid I have purchased is 85%.
Someone suggested I could do this by checking it's specific gravity. I
tried to take a reading and my hydrometer rode so high in the Formic that
the whole scale was well above the liquid. Does this sound right, wrong, or
is this all a red herring?
