The Apistan label does not address this concern, but as George stated there
are DEFINITE
residue concerns. That you even ask the question hints you already know the
answer. The label
doesn't say "Don't trap pollen while strips are in the hives", but the label
also doesn't say
"Do not lick strips!" If you wouldn't do the latter then you shouldn't do
the former. If you feel
the need to trap while you're treating, keep the contaminated pollen
separate from pollen
you trap for human consumption. You can use the contaminated pollen to feed
your bees.
