Good point. The belt reaches a temp of about 125 degrees, which is
very hot to the touch but not dangerously high (I don't think) for the
honey. Wrapping the pail with a piece of aluminum flashing and occasional
stirring will diperse the heat.
When I first got the unit I did not use the flashing wrap and the hot
belt began to cut into the pail, but I've not experienced a problem with
the heat affecting the honey.
