1) YES I did start with 10 frames. The hive is a kit I bought from
The Kelly Co. in Kentucky. It is assymbled correctly,to the best of my
knowlage. I have fed the bees since installing them. As far as I can
tell by your post I have followed the propper proceedure for
establishing a hive. My question is what do I do about it? So far I've
been told to cut the "weird comb" out, or to move it to the end of the
box facing the outter edge. I think removing the comb is the correct
thing to do, but is there anything I should be aware of while
attempting this proceedure, or am I way off and just need to move it.
Obviously I am new to all this and if I can gain by your years of
experience I would feel very lucky indeed. Thank You, Dave
