I have never heard of honey tasting like kerosene. After reading George's
comments I would like to suggest that you may have a contamination problem.
Some form of petroleum product has gotten into the equipment (maybe from
the first batch?). This would also explain the laxative effect!
I am not sure how to detect kerosene or gasoline in the honey. Maybe
disolve a few spoonfulls in a cup of water and see if you get a
slick on the top of the water?
