I have done this for years, but I have a tough case here with "casts of
thousands" involved in this baby's feeding. I usually am working with
mother and baby--and sometimes with a Ped. But in this case there are MANY
people watching, worrying, weighing, threatening, hoping, and doubting.

So I am asking for suggestions for getting a baby who is mainly bottle
feeding with EBM, who will suckle at a full breast and get 1-1/2 ounces and
fall asleep or be fussy with hunger, to be a breastfed baby.

Mom's milk supply is adequate now, the latch is good, but the suck is a
bottle suck--not very strong and used to the steady rate of the bottle.

I ask you to assume that I don't know anything about how to do this. Tell
me how you would go about helping this baby to learn to suckle at the
breast effectively.
