My only thought is to ask how swollen mom still is. Since she had an
unexpected c/s they dumped a lot of iv fluid on her. i have had quite a few
mom's who's milk didn't come in until 24 hrs after the swelling in their feet
came down (i believe i was a victim, also with my first child). I have had 2
mom's who had minimal production on day 7. and full blown engorgment on day
8. Both had been pumping at least 6 x's per day since day 3 & 5
respectively. Had a real hard time convincing the one mom that she had to
feed the baby suppliment :(. Once they got going production and babies wt
gain seem just fine. My main thought is keep mom's spirts up, keep one eye
open for other possible causes, and by all means pump & feed the baby!!!! (by
any another means than a bottle if possible.)

Hope this is of help.
