<<Being the cynical person that I am, I have to say that why most doctors
support this pre-planned, unnatural method of getting babies out of their
mothers probably has more to do with their reimbursement (which is higher
for performing surgery) rather than their feeling that there is a case to be
made for c-section>>

I had to have a hospital birth with my son due to complications.  I was able
to have an unmedicated birth and I can remember my (very supportive) OB
teasing me that he's all for natural birth but he doesn't make much off
those births!
