Just a note: In the October issue of "Ladies' Home Journal" there is a
sidebar mentioning that when a woman has breastfeeding questions, her doctor
might NOT be the first person to ask. It went on to say that most doctors
have had little training about breastfeeding, and that if one wanted reliable
bf info, to contact La Leche League (and gave the 800 number).

The article accompanying this sidebar was about early release from the
hospital after childbirth. Unfortunately, it made it sound like early release
is the reason why some mothers cannot produce enough milk to bf. It was
another story that doesn't list the facts correctly....But at least the
sidebar was accurate!
